About Us
JPS Prints is a London-based small business with a global reach, serving the Sikh and Panjabi diaspora worldwide.
What began in 2019 as an Instagram page showcasing simple prints soon blossomed into something much more distinctive and original. The turning point came in 2021 during the COVID-19 lockdown, when we had the time to fully explore our artistic vision. That’s when
JPS PRINTS truly took off, and we introduced our specialty: foiled art. This marked a significant shift in our creative journey - a long-standing passion for art and design, combined with a desire to offer a fresh, modern alternative to the traditional art seen in Sikh and Panjabi homes.
At the heart of our work is a deep connection to both our Sikh faith and our roots in Panjab. Rather than using conventional painting techniques, we embraced the possibilities of digital art, and it was through this medium that we discovered a gap in the market for Sikh and Panjabi foil art. At the time, there were no other creators offering foil art to the scale or standard we envisioned. Our larger A3-sized foiled prints distinguish us from the standard A4 low-GSM printed options commonly found on the market.
The response was overwhelming. Our very first customer placed an order for ten framed pieces, and has remained a loyal supporter ever since. From there, word spread, and we saw a surge in attention, custom and gift orders. The feedback we received - full of gratitude and joy - was a testament to the emotional connection people had with our work.
As demand grew, so did our need for professional-grade production. We transitioned from creating prints at home to working with specialist foil companies, ensuring the highest possible quality in every piece. This allowed us to meet the luxury standards our customers expect.
By 2024, JPS Prints has shipped to customers across the UK, Europe, Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand, with our art reaching as far as India, Malaysia, Singapore, and our beloved Panjab. In 2024, we also launched our first collection of foiled Panjabi greeting cards for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response globally. We were stocked in a bakery in Canada and across London, as well as independent small businesses holding our cards for resale. Not to forget, our luxury A3+ sized Sahi Chithi product.
We’re also privileged to collaborate with homeowners, helping them enhance their interiors with foiled art that perfectly complements their colour schemes and style. It’s an honour to be part of creating spaces that reflect our shared heritage.
Our work goes beyond conventional designs, merging influences from Sikh, Panjabi, and Persian - Mughal India art to create unique, meaningful pieces that reflect our passions and cultural pride.
